Message from Ruby

Visit to Children's Hospital to see Ruby

We went to see Ruby and her mom today and we were able to give them a cheque for $4200!  Thank you everyone for contributing and thank you Lee and Sam for having us. The Ride for Ruby was hard but worth it and being able to help Ruby was also awesome. She is feeling better and hopefully she will get to leave her isolation room soon!

Finished the Ride!

Today I finished the ride and before I left Royston my whole class rode the last 10 km with us. It was a great surprise, but that was not it. When we all got to ecole puntledge park school the whole class held a potluck. There was pizza, sushi, fruit kabob's, fruit platter, veggie platter, brownies, cookies, scones, cherry's, ice cream cake and so many more delicious foods! After school ended Molly, Caity, Maia Annalise and I did a little fundraiser at Thrifty's-thank you all the people that donated! Thank you Madame Mathews and Mr Reimer for organizing everything!

Riding for Ruby on the Island!

We are almost there! Thank you Annelies, Hugo and Molly for riding with me and Alex today. It made it easier. We went a long way today, but at least it was mostly flat and sunny.

Frieda and Lina

Today I met a little girl named Frida she's 5, super sweet, and drew me a nice picture. Frida has a little sister named Lina, she is 2 and has had cancer since she was six weeks old. It makes me sad to realize other kids like Ruby's are sick with Cancer. So i think its just so sad and i thought that i could do a fundraiser every year for kids with cancer!

Also thank you to all those generous people that donated towards Ruby at Blenz, Nester in whistler and Nesters in squamish.
